Accountant

About the role

We are searching for a sharp and commercially grounded individual to apply finance and accounting skills across multiple jurisdictions in line with regulatory requirements. The right candidate will be technically excellent, comfortable challenging Opco leadership on financial performance, and driving change on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting of assigned entities and own the Accounts Payable function.
• Perform month‑end closing and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Execute year‑end closing, produce financial statements and tax returns on time.
• Ensure adherence to global and local accounting policies and standards.
• Handle regulatory reporting, annual audit and tax return deadlines.
• Prepare clear, concise financial and analytical reports.
• Assist with internal and external audits and support tax advisory projects.
• Analyse financing options and contribute to special finance projects as needed.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Big 4 experience is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of internal controls and financial governance.
• Meticulous and able to meet high standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
