Accountant (MNC / Hybrid / West)

About the role

A stable multinational maritime services company, supporting leading energy and shipping operators, is looking for an Accountant in Singapore. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting across multiple entities, contribute to process improvement and take part in ERP transformation initiatives. The position is permanent, pays SG$5,000 to SG$6,000 per month and offers a hybrid or work-from-home arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting for assigned entities
• Perform month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis
• Support budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit activities
• Monitor fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• Support finance process improvement and system enhancement projects, including ERP migration and finance transformation
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of accounting experience
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems
• IT savvy
