Accountant – Multinational Maritime Company (Hybrid)

About the role

Join a stable multinational maritime business as an Accountant, supporting global port and offshore operations. You will work in a dynamic international environment with exposure to finance transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting activities for assigned entities.
• Perform month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assist with statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit activities.
• Monitor fixed‑asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Support finance process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
• Participate in ERP migration and finance transformation activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance and operations teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and IT savvy.
