About the role
We are looking for an organized Accounting Assistant to join our team in Singapore. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while supporting the finance function of Aqua Expeditions.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor daily accounts receivable collections and coordinate with the reservations team to ensure timely registration.
- Prepare and issue sales invoices after verifying reservation reports; record on‑board sales when applicable.
- Process purchase orders, register supplier invoices, and maintain an up‑to‑date accounts payable ledger with due dates.
- Execute weekly payments via online banking, email payment vouchers to suppliers, and record transactions in the accounting system.
- Manage petty cash, prepare weekly cash/bank position reports, and support cheque issuance and bank deposits.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and maintain accurate records and databases.
Required profile
- Professional and courteous demeanor with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles.
- Proficient computer skills for handling accounting software and spreadsheets.
