Tax Executive

About the role

IBMS Consultancy is seeking a diligent Tax Executive to manage tax compliance for a diverse portfolio of corporate and individual clients in Singapore. You will ensure accurate tax filings, support statutory audits, and act as a liaison with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).

Key responsibilities

• Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns, including detailed schedules for expenditures and wear‑and‑tear allowances.
• File individual tax returns in line with current regulations.
• Assist in ASK review processes for MES renewal to maintain certification standards.
• Liaise directly with IRAS to resolve tax filing queries promptly.
• Support auditors during statutory audits by providing comprehensive tax documentation and explanations.
• Monitor updates to tax laws, IRAS guidelines, and advise clients on compliance.
• Maintain 2–3 full sets of client accounts for accurate financial reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tax compliance and filing.
• Strong multitasking and prioritisation abilities.
• Adaptable, responsible, and flexible with a positive attitude.
• Fast learner with strong logical and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client, auditor, and IRAS interactions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
