Accounting Lead

About the role

The Accounting Lead will own the end‑to‑end service quality and client experience for a portfolio of compliance clients. This senior role blends hands‑on technical delivery with team leadership, ensuring client satisfaction, SLA compliance and effective service recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager/Directors to onboard new compliance clients and drive adoption of cloud accounting platforms such as Xero and QuickBooks Online.
• Oversee accounting, finance and administrative work at client sites, maintaining consistent quality across engagements.
• Review and sign off on work prepared by Senior and Junior Accounts Executives, providing coaching and performance guidance.
• Take ownership of bookkeeping review, financial statement preparation, corporate tax filing and GST submissions for the client portfolio.
• Ensure Group‑wide compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and relevant regulatory requirements, escalating technical issues as needed.
• Report to senior management and be based in the Singapore office.
• Build strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities and manage staff allocation, workload distribution and capacity planning.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development of team members as the Group scales.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accountancy, Degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience handling full sets of accounts, payroll processing, GST and corporate tax.
• Experience managing a diverse client portfolio, preferably in a CSP environment.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, CPF, GST and related tax rules.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, organise the team and meet tight deadlines.
