Accounting Manager

About the role

MEGA COLLECTIVE is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of its accounting department across Singapore. You will work closely with the financial management team to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement of financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities, including transaction recording, ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation.
• Monitor and analyse accounting data, producing regular financial reports for senior management.
• Establish, enforce, and continuously improve accounting policies, methods, and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory standards.
• Provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial systems and procedures.
• Assign projects, direct staff, and ensure compliance and accuracy across all accounting functions.
• Maintain organized fiscal files and records to document all transactions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manipulate large data sets.
• Excellent supervisory and leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel).
• Experience using accounting software and database systems.
