Accounts Executive – Construction Finance

About the role

The Accounts Executive will manage the full set of accounting activities for our construction projects, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. You will work closely with project teams, external auditors, and banking partners to support the company’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the full set of accounts and ensure timely month‑end closure.
• Review and improve accounting processes to reflect business conditions accurately.
• Perform variance analysis and prepare monthly cash‑flow forecasts.
• Prepare annual financial statements for audit approval.
• Manage project budgets, sales orders, and billing cycles, including issuing delivery orders, invoices, and credit notes.
• Handle supplier invoicing, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare debtor and creditor aging reports and monitor payment schedules.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and banks on credit facilities.
• Ensure GST reporting complies with IRAS regulations and support quarterly GST submissions.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines independently.
• Strong organizational and follow‑up skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autocount accounting software.
