Accounts Executive – Income Audit

About the role

The Accounts Executive (Income Audit) will ensure the accuracy and compliance of daily revenue transactions for a high‑volume hotel. Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller, you will play a key part in safeguarding financial integrity and supporting month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily audits of revenue transactions, including rate variance and F&B void checks, to verify compliance with hotel policies.
• Compile and audit complimentary room and employee stay records each day.
• Validate General Cashier Report and cash‑recycling machine daily cash reports.
• Analyze administrative PM folios for posting discrepancies.
• Post verified adjustment entries into the accounting system on a daily basis.
• Assist the General Cashier with surprise audits of house floats, car‑park tickets, vouchers, etc.
• Verify upselling incentives and commission payables for rooms and F&B.
• Identify, investigate, and document any unusual or potentially fraudulent transactions.
• Communicate findings effectively with relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit daily and monthly reports promptly.
• Prepare month‑end closing journal entries.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of income audit experience in a high‑volume hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal control procedures.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Proactive, meticulous, and capable of maintaining high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
