Accounts Executive

About the role

Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts for both the Singapore (SG) and Malaysia (MY) entities. The role requires a strong understanding of regional accounting standards, GST/SST tax regimes, and statutory compliance to deliver accurate and integrated financial reporting across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts for Singapore and Malaysia up to trial balance and final financial statements.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing procedures timely for both jurisdictions.
• Prepare consolidated and entity‑specific monthly financial statements in compliance with SFRS and MFRS.
• Handle multi‑currency transactions, foreign exchange differences and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Produce management reports highlighting key financial variances and performance indicators.
• Oversee filing of statutory returns (GST/Corporate Tax in SG, SST/Corporate Tax in MY) and liaise with tax agents and regulators.
• Coordinate audit schedules and act as main contact for external auditors.
• Maintain internal controls and financial policies consistently across regions.
• Process full accounts payable cycle and ensure vendor payments and expense claims comply with local regulations.
• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, collections and credit control for regional clients.
• Perform periodic bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience handling full‑set accounts independently.
• Demonstrated experience managing books for both Singapore and Malaysia entities.
• Familiarity with SFRS/IFRS and MFRS accounting standards.
• Working knowledge of Singapore GST and Malaysia SST rules and reporting.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel and relevant accounting software/ERP.
• Highly meticulous with strong analytical abilities and ability to meet multiple regional deadlines.
