Accounts Executive

About the role

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a capable and motivated Accounts Executive to join our Accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on accounting work, wants exposure to a wide variety of businesses, and seeks rapid development in a fast‑paced professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of Singapore companies across various industries and prepare full sets of accounts, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations, reconcile balance‑sheet accounts, and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general‑ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial statements with supporting schedules.
• Process accounting adjustments, accruals, pre‑payments, depreciation and other closing entries.
• Assist with GST computation and submission, audit schedules and respond to auditors’ queries.
• Review client accounting records, identify discrepancies, and communicate directly with clients to obtain documents and clarify matters.
• Maintain proper accounting records, ensure timely completion of tasks and use accounting software to improve speed and accuracy.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Relevant accounting experience (1‑3 years preferred) in an accounting firm, corporate services firm or outsourced environment.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines.
• Proactive attitude, attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills.
