AI Application Analyst

About the role

The AI Application Analyst will provide technical support for business applications while driving the adoption of generative AI across the organisation. You will work closely with users, development teams and various departments to ensure applications run smoothly and to identify AI‑enabled optimisation opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for a range of business applications.
• Analyze and resolve application issues in collaboration with users and development teams.
• Configure, test and deploy application enhancements and updates.
• Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes and support procedures.
• Identify optimisation opportunities, especially through generative AI.
• Conduct user training and create training materials.
• Educate and advocate responsible, ethical use of generative AI.
• Provide expertise to troubleshoot self‑developed LLM applications.
• Evaluate vendor proposals for custom LLM solutions.
• Assist in building an internal GenAI Playbook.
• Define LLM use cases with departments to address repetitive, high‑impact tasks.
• Collaborate to integrate AI tools into existing IT systems.
• Lead pilots and proof‑of‑concepts to demonstrate AI impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 5 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 3 years as an AI application analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of application support and lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application issues.
• Knowledge of cloud‑based applications and SaaS models.
• Demonstrated interest and experience with generative AI technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently or within a team.
• Strong analytical and organisational capabilities.
