AI Native Builder

About the role

NCS, a leading AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is hiring an AI Native Builder in Singapore. This is a startup embedded inside one of Singapore's largest tech companies, working in a small, fast-moving AI-native team under the Chief AI Officer. You will build and ship AI-powered MVPs and POCs for NCS clients, with direct exposure to senior leaders and engineers in real client contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Turn a client problem from brief to working prototype, using AI across design, code, research and documentation
• Experiment with emerging AI tools and frameworks to find the fastest path from idea to deployed solution
• Work directly with stakeholders to understand business needs and turn them into AI-enabled products
• Take part in fast-paced design sprints and agile cycles with tangible outputs
• Document and share learnings so the wider NCS team can adopt AI effectively

Required profile

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in AI, machine learning or generative AI development, with exposure to real-world applications or prototypes
• Curiosity and a drive to experiment and explore new tools
• Able to define your own direction, take initiative and make progress without a fixed playbook
• Hands-on contributor who prefers making an impact from week one
• Strong communication skills and a bias toward action

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript or similar, enough to iterate on AI-generated code
• Familiarity with AI tools beyond ChatGPT, including generative AI, automation and agentic tools
