AIDC Engineer – Data Center Projects

About the role

CATL is seeking an AIDC Engineer to support its global data‑center project development teams. You will work from early site feasibility through to ready‑to‑build stages, collaborating with customers and internal experts on a portfolio of overseas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse technical requirements for overseas data‑center projects.
• Communicate with customers to provide data‑center solutions, and prepare bidding and proposal documents.
• Identify risks and resolve system‑level issues throughout product development.
• Track testing, pilot production and certification results; prepare R&D documentation such as product specifications and patents.
• Draft technical agreements.
• Undertake long‑term business travel or on‑site assignments to provide localized customer support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or related fields.
• At least 3 years of technical, customer‑facing experience in the data‑center industry (preferred).
• Experience with mass‑produced or delivered products/projects (preferred).
• Strong communication, organisation, coordination and comprehension abilities.
• Highly proactive, logical thinker with strong teamwork skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
