Air Export Customer Service Agent

About the role

The Air Export Customer Service Agent provides exceptional service to internal and external customers, handling air export bookings, quotations, and shipment monitoring. The role is based in Singapore and supports a fast‑paced, professional logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Process air export shipment bookings through various communication channels.
• Provide freight quotes via email and obtain rate approvals.
• Enter required data into ETMS accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with Pharmaceutical & Healthcare regulations (GDP/GDPMDS).
• Communicate flight details and freight status to customers.
• Monitor shipment uplift and transit, flagging delays to shippers and destination offices.
• Maintain and update customer SOPs.
• Handle customer complaints with urgency and propose solutions.
• Prepare and submit required reports.
• Assist with additional tasks delegated by the supervisor or manager.

Required profile

• Minimum tertiary education.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant logistics or freight forwarding experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Computer literate with proficiency in email usage.

Required skills

• ETMS (Export Transportation Management System).
• Workboard (shipment monitoring tool).
