Air Freight Operations Executive

About the role

The Air Freight Operations Executive manages the end‑to‑end air freight process, covering export, import, transshipment and cross‑trade shipments. The role ensures accurate documentation, timely communication and smooth coordination with all stakeholders to keep operations running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee customer service, documentation, operational processes, execution, procurement and transportation arrangements.
• Monitor warehouse receiving activities and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Coordinate with customers, co‑loaders, overseas offices, agents, transport providers and vendors; issue pre‑alerts and manage shipment pickups, deliveries and status updates.
• Enter and update shipment details accurately in the CargoWise system.
• Process billing in CargoWise, prepare invoices promptly, review vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Support the sales team by handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints and preparing reports using Excel.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification with at least 5 years of experience in air freight operations.
• Proficiency in CargoWise and strong Excel skills.
• Experience with USA, South East Asia and China markets.
• Excellent service mindset and ability to connect with customers.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, stay organized and perform under pressure.
