Aircon Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Aircon Service Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal performance of HVAC and refrigeration systems across our island‑wide facilities in Singapore. The role involves routine maintenance, repairs, and installations to keep building environments comfortable and equipment running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, and related HVAC equipment, including DDC building control and pneumatic systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning evaporator drain pans, coils, filters, lubricating fan and motor bearings, and checking refrigerant levels.
• Diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant‑related issues, including motor, compressor, belt, thermostat, and valve repairs.
• Adjust airflow controls, dampers, splitters, diffusers, and fan speeds to meet occupant comfort requirements.
• Charge systems with the correct type and amount of refrigerant and purge contaminants.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, instrument readings, and parts replaced.
• Coordinate with contracted HVAC vendors to ensure seamless system operation.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in HVAC, air‑conditioning, or refrigeration maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, gauges, and instrument readings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Good physical stamina for handling equipment and working at heights.
