Android Mobile Software Engineer

About the role

Thales Singapore Engineering Competence Centre is looking for an Android Mobile Software Engineer to join the Digital Identity and Security team. You will contribute to the design, development and validation of a mobile SDK and applications that enable secure proximity payment and e‑commerce experiences for banks and merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design, implementation and validation of mobile SDKs and applications within an R&D project team.
• Develop and enhance mobile SDKs for Android, following established processes and delivery standards.
• Prototype new technologies and propose patents to improve the existing platform.
• Provide Level‑3 troubleshooting and support for customers.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Security, Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 5 years of professional experience in mobile technologies.
• Strong interest in the mobile application ecosystem and security.
• Motivated self‑starter with strong logical and analytical problem‑solving skills.
