APAC Market Planning & S&OP Lead

About the role

The APAC S&OP Lead reports to the Head of QSC for the OU and is based in Singapore. The role leads the S&OP and IBP cycle across APAC, enabling cross-functional decision-making, alignment between commercial ambition and supply capability, and disciplined execution of business plans. It covers the OU Operating Strategy, inventory performance, availability and risk and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IBP as the business deployment process for APAC and own the APAC S&OP process and its effectiveness across the OU, categories and key markets.
• Ensure the monthly S&OP cycle integrates demand, supply, inventory, financial and portfolio inputs into clear decisions and execution plans, and set the S&OP calendar, meeting flow, decision standards and governance.
• Aggregate and validate demand plans, and contribute to target setting, ABP and IGP, linking business planning with category growth plans.
• Own base-plan, what-if and scenario analysis with Category Supply Planning, and define scenario scope and demand ranges across growth building blocks.
• Balance sales, production and inventory at category level using an exception-based approach, and lead long-term capacity master planning beyond the 18-month horizon.
• Facilitate the monthly S&OP cycle, incorporate portfolio changes (NPI, EOL, SKU optimisation) into planning, and run S&OP health checks and continuous improvement.
• Own the OU Operating Strategy interface with the Planning Centre and Category teams, inventory performance plans, availability and risk and resilience, and lead OU lifecycle and portfolio management.
• Train OU resources, represent the OU in system implementation and upgrade projects, and act as the key interface with category-level functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, finance, engineering or a related field; advanced degree or supply chain certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in end-to-end supply chain, commercial planning, operations or related business leadership roles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional planning forums and influence senior stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, QSC, Category and market teams.

Required skills

• Strong experience in S&OP, IBP, demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning or business planning, preferably across multiple markets or categories.
• Advanced analytical capability, including scenario planning, trade-off evaluation, root-cause analysis and data interpretation.
• Working knowledge of demand, supply, inventory, portfolio, NPI/EOL, MRP, S&OP and IBP planning processes.
• Experience with enterprise planning systems, analytics tools and reporting platforms.
• Financial and commercial acumen, and experience in process governance, meeting facilitation and action tracking.
