APAC Transformation Finance Manager (Contract)

About the role

Dentsu is hiring an APAC Transformation Finance Manager on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027. The role supports the tracking of operational and financial deliverables of the Global Transformation program, working closely with the APAC Transformation Director and other members of the program team, locally and regionally.

Key responsibilities

• Review and advise on strategic financial plans in partnership with business leaders
• Analyse consolidated budgets and forecasts, and give interpretation, insight and guidance
• Drive operational improvement through analysis of financial plans, management information and performance
• Help business leaders understand short, medium and long-term resource requirements and their impact on forecasts and budgets
• Support initiatives to improve profitability and margin
• Support the APAC Transformation Office with high-quality analysis and help implement best-practice financial planning techniques
• Maintain and update the core financial model of the program and present changes to financials and their drivers
• Support internal reporting, including retranslating central financials into wider consolidated reporting, reforecasting and annual planning
• Develop and maintain cost and benefit tracking of the program, identifying gaps to targets
• Perform other ad hoc activities as necessary

Required profile

• Track record in large, complex global organisations, having worked through shared service transformation programs that delivered process optimisation and operational excellence
• Ability to interpret complex financial models built by others and to explain complex financial matters simply
• Attention to detail and ability to spot errors

Required skills

• High degree of financial modelling experience, including advanced Excel
• Experience in similar programs
