Architectural Coordinator – Construction Projects

About the role

The Architectural Coordinator will oversee the planning, execution and documentation of architectural works on construction sites. You will ensure that projects progress smoothly, meet quality standards and comply with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule architectural works, manage material requisition, control costs and supervise project documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, project managers, C&S and M&E engineers, and subcontractors to resolve construction issues.
• Monitor progress and ensure compliance of all architectural trades on site.
• Review drawings, specifications and method statements for code and project compliance.
• Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to Singapore building regulations and standards.
• Assist in project handover, defect rectification and Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) preparation.
• Participate in coordination meetings with stakeholders and perform any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, preferably recognised by the Board of Architects (BOA).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural finishing within Singapore’s construction industry, including HDB/LTA projects.
• Familiarity with RI and TOP inspection procedures and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes, regulations and local quality standards.
• Certification or registration with CONQUAS and knowledge of Greenmark documentation is an advantage.
