Architectural Designer

About the role

The Design Abode is seeking a fun, passionate and motivated Architectural Designer to take on fresh challenges in design innovation. You will manage projects from concept through execution while working under the guidance of Associates or Directors. The role involves collaborating with all parties involved in a project to bring design concepts to life.

Key responsibilities

• Take instructions from Associates or Directors and execute the project.
• Meet with clients to understand their objectives and requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to address needs.
• Prepare presentations, drawings, and documents for client review and authority submissions.
• Develop tender drawings for contractors and assess quotations.
• Manage construction contracts and overall project schedule, tracking deliverables from all parties.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural practice.
• Familiarity with local FF&E trades.
• Strong creative and communication abilities.
• Passion for thoughtful design.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Sketchup.
• Proficiency in Photoshop.
