Area Sales Manager

About the role

UPS is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead its field sales team and drive growth across a defined geographic region. You will be responsible for building long‑term client relationships, delivering innovative business ideas, and ensuring the area meets and exceeds UPS’s commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the field sales team, providing coaching and performance management.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and new‑business acquisition.
• Manage day‑to‑day activities of Sales Managers, ensuring targets and financial measures are met.
• Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and oversee retention initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align sales efforts with overall company goals.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the logistics or courier industry.
• At least 3 years of proven people‑management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results, influence stakeholders, and develop diverse talent.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
