Assistant Accounts Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Accounts Manager to support the financial and accounting functions of our estate operations. The role involves ensuring compliance, accuracy, and smooth financial transitions while working closely with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review payment vouchers, financial statements, GST filings, and audited reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Correspond with clients on accounting matters and provide clear financial clarifications on MCST accounts.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory requirements, including tax filings to IRAS and CPF contributions.
• Coordinate handover and takeover processes for new or ceased projects to facilitate smooth financial transitions.
• Supervise, train, and mentor new staff to uphold accounting standards and improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and cash‑flow management for estate operations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, CPF Board, and regulatory authorities to meet statutory reporting obligations.
• Support council and general meetings by preparing financial reports, documentation, and clarifications as required.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned to support business needs.

Required profile

• Experience reviewing payment vouchers, financial statements, and GST filings.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to clients.
• Knowledge of statutory filing requirements such as IRAS tax filings and CPF contributions.
• Experience coordinating handover and takeover processes for projects.
• Supervisory or mentoring experience in an accounting environment.
• Familiarity with budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and cash‑flow management.
• Experience liaising with auditors and regulatory authorities.
