Assistant / Associate Professor (Tenure-Track) in Interactive Media

About the role

Nanyang Technological University’s School of Art, Design and Media seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor (Tenure‑Track) in Interactive Media. The successful candidate will join a research‑intensive, interdisciplinary environment that bridges technology, creativity and societal challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in interactive media, digital culture and related subjects.
• Supervise student projects, theses and creative research work.
• Develop and evolve curriculum in line with the school’s interdisciplinary priorities.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in reputable venues and secure external funding.
• Contribute to the school’s research themes such as Digital Culture and Society, AI industry practices, ethics and governance.
• Engage with industry partners and community stakeholders to enhance the impact of research and teaching.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent in Interactive Media, Digital Arts, Human‑Computer Interaction or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly research and creative practice.
• Experience in studio‑based teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Commitment to academic service, curriculum development and mentorship of students.
