Assistant Cook

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Cook to support our kitchen operations across Singapore. You will work closely with the Cook to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient food preparation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Cook with food preparation tasks such as cleaning, cutting, chopping, and peeling ingredients.
• Maintain hygiene standards by cleaning and sanitising preparation areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Wash, disinfect, and store cooking tools and kitchenware properly.
• Measure, weigh, and store ingredients and supplies, managing inventory and stock deliveries.
• Operate kitchen appliances including mixers, ovens, and knives safely.
• Support inventory control, unload supplies, and organise the storeroom.
• Contribute to quality‑service initiatives and help develop or improvise menu items.
• Maintain kitchen expenses, food costs, and staffing within budgetary limits.

Required profile

• Ability to work shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience or willingness to cook North Indian cuisine.
• Professional attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.

• Operating kitchen appliances (mixers, ovens, cutters).
