About the role

An Assistant Cook supports the kitchen team by keeping the work area orderly, preparing ingredients, and ensuring the Cook has everything needed for efficient service.

Key responsibilities

Assist the Cook with food preparation tasks such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling ingredients.
Clean and sanitise food preparation areas and properly store utensils and equipment.
Wash, disinfect and store cooking utensils, dishes and kitchen tools.
Buy, weigh, store ingredients and manage inventory, including unloading supplies.
Operate kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens.
Maintain clean work areas and contribute to quality‑service improvement programs.

Required profile

Ability to cook North Indian cuisine.
Willingness to work shift schedules.

Required skills

Operating kitchen appliances (cutters, knives, mixers, ovens).
Food preparation techniques (cleaning, cutting, chopping, peeling).
Inventory management and stock organisation.
