Assistant Director / Senior Manager, Office of Value Based Healthcare

About the role

The Office of Value Based Healthcare leads end-to-end implementation of Value-based Healthcare (VBH) programmes such as Value-Driven Care, Choosing Wisely, Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) and value-based incentive models, using data analytics and cross-institutional collaboration to improve health outcomes while optimising costs. This managerial position supports the Director and Group Director, works with Institutional Value Leads and the Ministry of Health, and drives cross-institutional collaboration and partnerships aligned with national healthcare objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Review, formulate, implement and monitor progress of strategies and key performance indicators to align VBH initiatives across SingHealth institutions and at the national level
• Lead the organisation of events and resources to build VBH capability at the cluster level
• Supervise, coach and develop junior staff to enhance team capabilities and performance
• Manage departmental resources, including budgeting and resource allocation, to support strategic objectives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in biomedical or health sciences
• At least 8-10 years of relevant working experience and at least 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience
• Experience in the healthcare sector preferred
• Strong leadership and management skills; independent, collaborative and able to manage change

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge and experience of data analytics, benchmarking and change management
• Statistical tools and process improvement methodologies are a strong advantage
