Assistant Engineering Executive (Lift)

About the role

The Assistant Engineering Executive (Lift) supports the engineering team in ensuring lift performance meets regulatory and internal standards. This role coordinates testing, inspections, project‑related fees, and health & safety processes for lift assets across divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor lift testing schedules, submit results to senior engineers, and ensure all lifts are tested before expiry.
• Manage project‑related fees, health & safety communications, and fortnightly toolbox meetings.
• Process lift minor parts payments, joint inspections, and direct invoicing through the LIVS system.
• Certify invoices for parts replacement/repair, preventing duplicate or outstanding items.
• Monitor lift performance, investigate breakdowns and complaints, and recommend agreed damages where appropriate.
• Use the TMS platform to track lift servicing, response times, and generate warning letters for non‑compliant service providers.
• Conduct monthly lift inspections, verify defect rectifications, and submit detailed reports for endorsement.
• Assist in preparing the monthly Town Council management report and recommend damage cases for problematic lifts.

Required profile

• Experience in lift performance monitoring and testing compliance.
• Familiarity with project fee processing and health & safety documentation.
• Ability to coordinate inspections, handle invoice certification, and prepare technical reports.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with lift companies, engineers, and town council officials.
