Assistant Finance Manager – Financial Reporting

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to lead our financial reporting, budgeting and treasury activities, while driving process improvements and managing a small finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly and annual closing, financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, costing, inventory and reconciliations.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and provide business performance insights.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, audits, tax and statutory matters, liaising with auditors and tax agents.
• Develop and mentor a team of two finance staff and champion automation and ERP initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
• Minimum 8 years of finance and accounting experience, including 2‑3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 2‑3 years of external audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems and related automation projects.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting and cash‑flow management capabilities.
