Assistant General Manager – Hospitality Operations

About the role

Figment is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily property operations for its boutique, heritage‑inspired homes. The role is remote‑first with hybrid flexibility, reporting directly to the Founder & CEO and the General Manager. You will ensure members receive an outstanding experience across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute business strategy for the property portfolio, aligning with company objectives.
• Lead, inspire and develop cross‑functional teams across operations, sales and back‑of‑house functions.
• Set clear goals, KPIs and accountability, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, maintenance and facilities management.
• Implement SOPs and conduct regular audits to ensure consistency and quality.
• Design and drive community‑engagement initiatives to boost resident satisfaction and retention.
• Manage revenue, expenses, and property performance metrics.
• Mentor staff, promote employee development and uphold brand standards.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in hospitality, property management or related fields.
• Strong problem‑solving ability with a flexible, dynamic mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and self‑discipline for remote‑first work.
• Passion for delivering superior customer service and preserving architectural heritage.
