Assistant HR Manager - Payroll and HR Operations

About the role

Fuku is hiring an Assistant HR Manager (Payroll and HR Operations) in Singapore. The role oversees payroll processes and ensures HR operations are efficient and compliant with regulatory standards. It supports the HR department in payroll processing, HR compliance and operational tasks, helping improve HR operations and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the payroll system and handle monthly payroll, including income tax, reimbursements, CPF payments and tax filings for local and foreign employees, and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Liaise with statutory bodies such as IRAS, MOM and CPF on remuneration, and respond promptly to employee queries about payroll.
• Administer staff benefits and claims, and handle government claims and grants (NS, maternity, paternity, PSG).
• Conduct market compensation and benefit benchmarking, and prepare and submit surveys to authorities such as MOM, CPF, SNEF, IMDA and the Department of Statistics Singapore.
• Oversee application and renewal of company licenses, manage WICA, foreign medical insurance and public liability insurance, and handle EEOC and other employee legal claims.
• Supervise, train and develop the HR and Admin team, review payroll and HR processes regularly, and carry out ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on payroll experience.
• Good knowledge of the Employment Act, HR regulations and payroll practices.
• Detail-oriented problem solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
