Assistant IT Manager (Operations)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Assistant IT Manager (Projects and Operations) to support regional IT initiatives across multiple markets. The role combines hands‑on application support, coordination of system enhancements, and participation in overseas project rollouts within the retail and eCommerce environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects, including regional deployments and overseas rollouts.
• Provide application support for core systems such as POS, ERP, CRM, and WMS, troubleshooting issues to ensure business continuity.
• Manage small‑scale development and enhancement initiatives for web applications and system integrations.
• Gather business requirements, propose solutions, and coordinate with internal and external development teams.
• Support system implementation, testing, training, and go‑live activities in overseas subsidiaries.
• Maintain documentation, track service levels, and contribute to change‑management processes.
• Participate in developing and refining IT operational procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Travel as needed to support project implementation and system support in overseas offices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems enhancement, or project coordination.
• Familiarity with retail, eCommerce, or supply‑chain operations and experience supporting regional or overseas markets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑cultural, cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of ITIL‑based support workflows; PMP or Agile certification is a plus.

Required skills

• POS systems (e.g., Oracle Xstore).
• ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Order Management System (OMS) familiarity.
• Basic programming or scripting, preferably Python.
• API and middleware integration experience.
• Ticketing system usage and ITIL support processes.
