Assistant Manager, Academic (Graduate Programmes)

About the role

NTU’s Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead its graduate research programmes. The role oversees the full lifecycle of graduate programmes, from admissions to curriculum delivery, ensuring a seamless academic experience for students.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end admissions processes, including application review, interview coordination, offer issuance and applicant communication.
• Conduct outreach activities such as information sessions, recruitment fairs and coffee chats to attract prospective students.
• Collaborate with faculty, programme committees and partner universities to evaluate applications and align admission timelines.
• Maintain and improve admissions systems, generate and analyse data on applications, admissions and scholarships, and support data‑driven outreach strategies.
• Plan programme timetables, secure venues, and coordinate course registration, vacancy management and student enrolment.
• Handle curriculum proposals, fee revisions, and teaching requests from faculty and guest speakers.
• Prepare annual budget submissions, track expenditures and ensure financial compliance for graduate research programmes.
• Gather feedback on courses and student experiences to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in admissions administration and graduate programme management.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills to work with faculty, internal units and external partners.
• Ability to analyse data and produce actionable insights for outreach and admissions strategies.
• Experience preparing and monitoring programme budgets.
