Assistant Manager, Admissions and Financial Aid

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the Admissions and Financial Aid Division in attracting and recruiting qualified applicants to SIT. The role involves international student recruitment, outreach events, and assisting with undergraduate admissions and financial aid operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute local and international recruitment initiatives, represent SIT at education fairs, school visits and outreach programmes, and undertake overseas travel as required.
• Support marketing and communications by developing admissions collaterals, digital content and coordinating with creative agencies for campaigns, photography and video production.
• Assist the Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid teams with application processing, verification, shortlisting, applicant enquiries and ensuring a seamless applicant experience.
• Collaborate with SIT faculty, other university divisions and external partners to meet enrolment objectives and uphold service standards.

Required profile

• A recognised degree or Polytechnic Diploma with 3‑5 years of relevant experience in higher education, student recruitment or related marketing roles.
• Strong written and spoken English, confident presentation skills and the ability to engage prospective students, parents and educators.
• Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management and organisational skills, with the capacity to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel overseas for recruitment activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (advantageous).
• Additional language skills such as Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia are a plus.
