About the role
We are seeking a Centre Administrator to manage the administrative, financial and operational functions of the new Centre for Health, Culture, and Society at Nanyang Technological University. Reporting to the Director, you will be the sole dedicated administrator, shaping processes from budgeting to event delivery and partnership management.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the Centre’s budgets across multiple funding streams, process transactions and prepare financial reports for the Director and funders.
- Support grant applications, post‑award reporting, milestone tracking and audit documentation.
- Plan and deliver the Centre’s events programme, including conferences, seminars and workshops for healthcare professionals.
- Act as the administrative liaison for hospital, arts and community partners, maintaining partnership records and agreements.
- Provide secretariat support to the Steering Committee and advisory boards.
- Maintain the Centre’s website, newsletters and mailing lists and assist with public engagement.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and visitor arrangements with NTU Human Resources and support Masters and undergraduate programmes.
Required profile
- A good Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Three to five years of experience in an administrative, project coordination or operations role, preferably in a university, research institute, hospital, arts organisation or non‑profit.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets and financial administration independently with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience organising events from planning through delivery and reporting.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines with limited supervision.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Website content management.
