Assistant Manager, Dessert Cafe

About the role

The Dark Gallery is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of its Dessert Cafe. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high‑quality desserts and specialty beverages while ensuring excellent customer service and smooth restaurant workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and plate desserts to meet quality and presentation standards.
• Make and serve specialty coffee, tea, and chocolate beverages according to customer specifications.
• Process customer payments accurately using cash registers and payment terminals.
• Resolve customer issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of food preparation and customer areas.
• Assist the Manager with inventory management, procurement, and stock level monitoring.
• Support staff scheduling, monitor performance, and help with recruitment and training of new hires.

Required profile

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (mandatory for safe food handling).
• At least 1 year of experience in food and beverage establishments.
• Service‑oriented attitude toward customers and team members.
