Assistant Manager, Employee & Corporate Communications

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Employee & Corporate Communications supports the delivery of internal and external communication programmes for SJ. Working closely with senior managers, the role ensures consistent messaging across employee channels, corporate media, and digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of employee communications campaigns and global cascade materials.
• Manage publishing on internal platforms such as SharePoint and Viva Engage.
• Develop employee newsletters, intranet content, and leadership communication materials.
• Monitor media coverage, maintain reporting dashboards, and manage journalist and stakeholder databases.
• Assist with media monitoring, research, and tracking of awards, conferences, and partnerships.
• Support website publishing, content updates, and approvals for communication assets.
• Compile performance reports, track media and social metrics, and maintain communications dashboards.
• Coordinate project timelines, approvals, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Experience in employee and corporate communications.
• Ability to manage content publishing across multiple digital platforms.
• Strong organisational skills for coordinating campaigns and reporting.
• Familiarity with stakeholder engagement and media monitoring processes.
