Assistant Manager – Financial Services Tax

About the role

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a financial services tax professional to play a key role in the development of our financial services tax group. As an Assistant Manager, you will support Managers and Partners in helping our financial services clients meet their tax obligations, structure affairs efficiently and apply for tax incentives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and review personal tax and GST compliance and advisory work for banking, insurance, payments, wealth and asset management, and family office clients.
• Ensure timely completion of tax work and support the Manager/Partner in delivering high‑quality tax services.
• Maintain continuous interaction with clients, manage expectations and provide exceptional client service.
• Oversee the compliance management process and adapt to challenges.
• Assist in managing a compliance team, including forecasting work, delegating tasks, coaching, and resolving staffing issues.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including drafting proposals.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or a related discipline, preferably with SCTP membership.
• 4‑5 years of relevant business tax experience serving financial services clients such as banks, insurers, payments firms, wealth or asset managers, or family offices.
• Strong understanding of Singapore tax policies for the wealth and asset management industry.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
