Assistant Manager / Manager, Admitting Operations

About the role

SingHealth is looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager, Admitting Operations to assist the Head of Cardiac Clinics in managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of outpatient admitting services. The role covers strategic planning, development and implementation of admission and financial counselling processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop workplans and processes for admission and financial counselling using innovative technologies in patient care
• Prepare and monitor annual operating and capital budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and use
• Manage manpower for new and existing outpatient services, provide prompt service recovery and oversee improvement projects
• Represent the department at cluster meetings, contribute to discussions and coordinate cross-functional activities on system enhancements and workflows

Required profile

• Degree with at least 3 years of working experience, preferably in managing admitting services in healthcare
• Healthcare and staff management experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of design thinking, change management, project management, technology adoption or process methodologies is preferred
• Strong analytical, supervisory and interpersonal skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
