Assistant Manager / Manager, Salesforce Business Analyst

About the role

This Assistant Manager / Manager position sits within the Enterprise CRM team of the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) division of the Corporate Group (CORP) at IMDA. The DTO develops and implements digital strategies using emerging technology and data, and its technical work focuses on application development and integration with a focus on generative AI. The role works closely with business leaders, end-users and technical teams to turn business needs into Salesforce solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document detailed business requirements for Salesforce solutions with stakeholders, then convert them into functional specifications and user stories.
• Analyse existing processes, identify pain points and recommend automation or optimisation using Salesforce tools.
• Partner with Salesforce administrators and developers to design, configure and implement custom workflows, dashboards and custom objects.
• Perform functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) of Salesforce configurations.
• Create reports and dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
• Deliver user training and ongoing support to promote adoption of Salesforce.
• Act as liaison between business units and technical teams, and keep up with Salesforce releases and best practices.

Required profile

• Background in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an analytical mindset focused on problem-solving and process improvement.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce, including Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
• Preferred Salesforce certifications in Administrator, Advanced Administrator or Business Analyst.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum, and familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and other project management tools.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping and user story creation, plus hands-on report and dashboard design in Salesforce.
