Assistant Manager / Manager, Tax (Transfer Pricing)

About the role

This position offers an experienced Transfer Pricing professional the chance to lead client engagements, shape tax strategies, and drive growth for the Tax business unit. You will work closely with financial services clients in Singapore and across the globe, ensuring compliance with OECD and Singapore transfer pricing guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on Singapore and international tax affairs, focusing on pricing implications of inter‑company transactions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive transfer pricing strategies using OECD and Singapore guidelines.
• Conduct functional analysis interviews, benchmarking studies, and prepare transfer pricing documentation.
• Project‑manage regional and global transfer pricing projects, including audits and policy development.
• Lead and mentor a team through functional analysis, industry research, and policy preparation.
• Coordinate with the Forvis Mazars global network on client matters and identify cross‑business development opportunities.
• Review client agreements and documents for compliance and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Degree in law, finance, tax, accounting or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of transfer pricing experience, preferably in the Asia‑Pacific or Europe region within a professional services firm.
• Experience with financial services clients and financial transactions is preferred.
• SCTP accreditation is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
