Assistant Manager – Marketing Communications (Content & Creative)

About the role

The hotel is looking for a hands‑on content creator who will develop on‑brand, compelling content that drives commercial results, brand awareness and guest engagement. The role covers copywriting, social media, short‑form video, photography coordination, website/app content, EDMs and marketing collateral.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with campaigns, events and business priorities.
• Write and edit copy for social media, EDMs, website/app, digital banners, posters, brochures and other Marcom touchpoints.
• Create social‑first content such as Stories, Reels and short‑form videos, including scripts, storyboards and shot lists.
• Plan and coordinate photo/video shoots, produce creative briefs, mood boards and manage production schedules.
• Produce conversion‑oriented campaign content with clear value propositions and calls‑to‑action.
• Identify, repurpose and manage content from events, partnerships and guest experiences across channels.
• Ensure brand consistency, review final assets before publication and manage stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Marketing or related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant Marcom, content, social media or editorial experience, capable of working independently at Assistant Manager level.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating copywriting, social content, campaigns and/or photo‑video development.
• Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, travel, F&B or luxury sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading in English.
• Strong understanding of social media and mobile‑first short‑form content.
• Ability to develop concepts, captions, scripts, storyboards and creative briefs.
• Basic photo/video capture and editing capability.
• Proficiency with Canva, CapCut and/or Adobe Creative Cloud.
