Assistant Manager – Outsourced Accounting (BPS)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead its Outsourced Accounting practice within Business Process Solutions. You will manage a portfolio of clients, ensure high‑quality service delivery, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a portfolio of outsourced accounting clients, delivering timely and quality services.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as the primary point of contact.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Review junior team members’ work for compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and provide tailored accounting solutions.
• Monitor client budgets and ensure efficient resource use.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Prepare and present financial reports with insights and recommendations.
• Oversee invoicing, collections, and support system improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (CA Singapore or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of consolidation, group reporting, and Singapore/International Financial Reporting Standards (US GAAP a plus).
• Self‑starter, organized, detail‑oriented, and deadline driven.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Experience leading junior professionals in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.
