Assistant Manager – Personal Accident Claims (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the Personal Accident (PA) claims function on a 12‑month contract basis. The role involves managing claim assessments, investigations and ensuring timely resolution while delivering excellent service to policyholders and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and process Personal Accident claims accurately within service turnaround times.
• Review medical reports, financial documents and supporting information to make fair claim decisions.
• Conduct investigations and liaise with policyholders, medical institutions and internal stakeholders to gather additional data.
• Monitor pending claims to ensure timely resolution and closure.
• Identify claim trends, irregularities and propose process‑improvement opportunities.
• Provide clear, professional communication to customers, agents and healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and claims governance standards.

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline with a professional Insurance Certificate or relevant insurance qualification.
• 3–5 years experience handling Personal Accident, Health or Life insurance claims.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage high claim volumes while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Proactive team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
