Assistant Manager – Strategic Communications

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Strategic Communications will support Nanyang Business School’s (NBS) effort to shape its brand, reputation and thought leadership across owned, earned and paid media. Working closely with the Dean’s Office and programme teams, you will create and distribute compelling content that advances the School’s strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original brand stories and thought‑leadership pieces, and repurpose existing assets for multi‑platform distribution.
• Write and publish feature stories on the NBS website, highlighting partnerships, faculty achievements and key initiatives.
• Lead the curation, editing and distribution of the NBS research newsletter.
• Manage and grow NBS’s social‑media presence, producing short‑form videos, infographics and other assets.
• Use AI‑powered tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite and Gemini Enterprise to enhance content creation.
• Explore emerging AI workflows while ensuring editorial quality and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with in‑house designers and videographers on communication materials.
• Write internal communications, including the monthly staff newsletter and executive speeches or memos.
• Maintain and update assigned pages on the NBS website and intranet, coordinating approvals for programme‑level materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate communications, brand marketing or digital content creation.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Strong copy‑editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
