Assistant Manager, Student Leadership

About the role

The Student and Academic Services Department at NTU is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive university‑wide leadership development initiatives. You will work within the Student Affairs Office to design, deliver, and optimise programmes that empower student leaders and support staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Team Lead in implementing multi‑tiered leadership development programmes, including thematic training, experiential learning, leadership dialogues and coaching.
• Coordinate the Student Ambassador Programme, managing administration, training delivery and deployment of ambassadors across schools and offices.
• Assist in the selection, training and deployment of NTU Global Ambassadors for high‑level university engagements.
• Curate learning and development courses for student development professionals, conducting needs analysis and impact assessments.
• Collaborate with internal and external training partners to continuously improve programme effectiveness.

Required profile

• Degree with 3‑5 years of experience in youth leadership development; experience in tertiary education is a plus.
• Strong pedagogical knowledge and hands‑on experience designing and facilitating learning experiences.
• Proven ability to plan, organise and deliver complex initiatives to high standards.
• Passion for student development and a commitment to fostering leadership.
• Project management expertise and a track record of effective stakeholder management.
