Assistant Manager, Student Recruitment (Singapore)

About the role

Nanyang Institute of Management, an EduTrust private education institution offering a variety of courses, is looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Manager for its Student Recruitment business development role, based in Singapore. The salary range is SGD 3,500-4,200.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Vice President Student Recruitment & Admission to recruit and admit international students, supporting NIM's expansion and brand identity.
• Recruit, train and build good working relations with new agents for student recruitment.
• Take part in exhibitions and road shows for agent and student recruitment.
• Liaise with enquiries, identify students' needs and explain the right programmes to enrol them.
• Follow up leads and arrange one-to-one course consultations by phone, social media or face-to-face appointments.
• Research and establish global partnerships with colleges, universities or institutions.
• Handle the admission documents students submit for final admission to Singapore.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma or bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in education consultation; entry-level candidates are also welcome.
• Private education industry experience preferred, and good knowledge of the Singapore education industry preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team to meet targets, and to work under pressure within time constraints.
• Able to travel as and when required.

Required skills

• Negotiation skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
• Good verbal and written communication in the local language and English, for pre-course counselling of prospective partners and students.
