Assistant Producer – Social Media Video

About the role

Gushcloud is seeking a high‑energy Assistant Producer to join its content team. You will help launch and elevate video assets for the company’s tier‑one talents, focusing on both long‑form series and fast‑moving social‑first formats.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate on‑set activities, ensuring talent schedules, props, and the Producer’s vision are executed flawlessly.
• Shoot and capture spontaneous, high‑quality social‑first video content using mobile setups during shoots or talent activations.
• Organise raw footage, audio files, B‑roll and production logs for easy access.
• Research viral trends, platform features and keyword optimisation to inform production decisions.
• Pitch creative concepts and develop social‑media strategies that drive engagement and watch time.
• Edit short‑form vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, adding captions, thumbnails and hook‑driven edits.
• Monitor audience feedback and engagement metrics, providing insights to the Production and Talent teams.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Media, Film, Mass Communications, Digital Marketing or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in content creation, social‑media management, short‑form production or video editing.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts ecosystems.
