Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor in Digital Supply Chain

About the role

The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), Singapore's first University of Applied Learning, is recruiting an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor in Digital Supply Chain within its Engineering faculty. The position is fixed term, starts on 01/08/2025, and sits in the Engineering (ENG) cluster, which works with industry on translational research and innovation.

Required profile

• Engineering background with extensive experience in digital supply chain.
• Academic and/or industrial experience designing and managing digital supply chain solutions and supply chain management.
• Interest in digital supply chain transformation, digital manufacturing, e-procurement, e-commerce and e-logistics.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations, risk management and operations research, such as demand forecasting, inventory control, procurement, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse and transportation simulation, optimization and management.
• Motivation to develop and teach a curriculum in supply chain sustainability.
• Strong interest in developing supply chain security, digital twin and artificial intelligence solutions through applied research projects.
• Desirable: good knowledge of digital supply chain technologies such as AI, LLMs, cyber security, IoT, 3D printing, automation, supply chain security, digital twins and blockchain; hands-on experience in commercial digital supply chain projects with hardware and software elements; experience integrating digitalization, resilience, agility and green supply chain; a PhD in a related technical area; leadership in industry-academia partnership projects.
